Tommy receives a frightening vision that hints at trouble ahead for the Green Ranger. Lord Zedd has developed a plan specifically designed to remove Tommy’s powers, using a monster to drain them and store them inside a powerful crystal. The Rangers are overwhelmed when they confront the monster, and Tommy disappears during the battle. Zedd then traps the Rangers in another dimension while protecting the Command Center with an energy field. Tommy is left isolated and powerless, facing Zedd’s forces without the abilities that have protected him since becoming a Ranger.
