Die Once, Born Again
The series repeatedly involves criminals misusing Emorgears. The deeper mystery is whether these criminals are independently discovering Emorgy powers or whether somebody is deliberately distributing Emorgears to them. If there is a supplier or organization behind the incidents, the seemingly unrelated cases across different universes could actually be pieces of one enormous operation.
The different universes are not necessarily isolated. Events in one reality sometimes seem to have consequences for characters elsewhere. That raises the question of whether the universes are actually interconnected through a larger cosmic structure. If that structure has a central point, discovering it could explain why the same Gavan concept appears in multiple realities.
If Emorgears amplify emotions, another mystery is why certain emotions produce particular powers. Perhaps the ability is connected to the user’s personality, memories, or deepest desires. That could mean the powers themselves reveal information about the criminals. Instead of being random superpowers, each ability could represent something psychologically important about its user.
If MY-TH’s enemies originate from humans, the selection process becomes another mystery. Why does one person transform while another person exposed to the same circumstances does not?
The monsters may not simply be ordinary creatures created to attack humanity. Some could potentially have connections to humans, memories, technology, or the same power that created the Rider.
Azusa Yamamoto’s Furabijo is technically an enemy character, but she became an iconic part of Hurricaneger’s female cast. Her playful personality and distinctive styling made her immediately recognizable. Her popularity also benefited from Yamamoto’s career as a model and television personality. She brought a strong fashion-oriented presence to the character that separated Furabijo from the…
A Rider who initially appears to be an enemy may have a completely different goal. The question is whether they are trying to destroy MY-TH, control it, protect someone from it, or prevent something worse from happening.
The biggest question tying almost everything together is why the universe produced so many different Gavans at the same time. Reiji, Setsuna, Kiki, Kunai, and the other Space Sheriffs initially appear to be separate heroes from separate worlds, but the repeated connections between their stories suggest a larger pattern. The series could ultimately reveal that…
An earlier MY-TH device could have disappeared years ago. Finding it might provide information about the system’s history and reveal that the current transformation technology is only one version.
Haruka Suenaga’s Sakura Nishihori is one of Sentai’s more disciplined heroines. Sakura’s military background gives her a serious edge, while Suenaga’s elegant appearance creates an interesting contrast. That combination is a major part of her appeal. She can look refined and sophisticated while still convincingly portraying a highly trained adventurer.
